With an impressive educational background, including a Master of Public Health, a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelors in Management, Undergraduate in Human Resources Management, Associate of Science in Gerontology, and diverse qualifications; Yolanda is not only highly educated but also the Head Coach of a Varsity High School Girls Softball Program, a Certified Genealogist and a Realtor, showcasing her multifaceted expertise.
During her 20-year career with the State of California, Yolanda's dedication and professionalism stood out. Starting as an Office Assistant, she worked her way up to become an Associate Governmental Program Analyst. Amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Yolanda's leadership shone brightly as the Director, Mission Support Team for two Alternate Care Sites, managing, coaching, and mentoring over 100 personnel with utmost respect from her peers and executive management.

Her unique experiences, including significant grief from back-to-back losses of loved ones, have fueled her determination to make a positive impact. Her personal experience as a survivor of childhood molestation ignited an unwavering passion to support and uplift others facing similar struggles, becoming a beacon of hope, understanding, and guidance.

Weathering the storm of divorce, she found herself a single mother of four children, navigating financial struggles. Through unwavering persistence and an unyielding commitment to a brighter future, Yolanda transformed her hardships into steppingstones, raising resilient children who now thrive as self-sufficient adults. Now remarried for 21 years, her journey stands as a testament to the power of the human spirit—a symbol of strength, courage, and unwavering hope.
